Our rooms now feature large, rainforest themed canvases. These photos were taken by Elias Branch, a Swiss detail artist. He and his partner Nadja spent around eight months as WWOOFERS at Wairua, where he captured the magic our piece of rainforest has to offer.
Elias loved the rainforest and spent almost every free minute in the forest with his camera. His pictures invite closer inspection – totara, lancewood, nikau or rewa rewa. These are all common trees found in our rainforest. Elias’s photograpic eye was able to capture these trees in detail, creating exciting perspectives.
These pictures invite the viewer into a journey through the rainforest. They show the beauty of nature and enable us to marvel at the endless details one can discover.
